Combination Braces

Often there are some bites that would not achieve a satisfactory result if Invisalign or Clearstep alone were used to correct the bite. For these patients, we often provide a very short course of fixed appliances to quickly address the issue that cannot alone be successfully corrected with Invisalign.

By combining the two treatments in this way, the bulk of the work is carried out with the discreet removable aligners which allow the patient complete control in social situations if they need to remove the aligners for a short period.

By minimising the length of time in the active visible fixed braces (often done during a holiday period or during quiet times in their work schedule), it increases the amount of patients who can be successfully treated with the cosmetic braces for the bulk of their treatment.
